| Backtagging: Yes! I occasionally drop threads if they don't seem to be going somewhere and I'm having a hard time coming up with a reply, but I'm generally good about backtagging into infinity for anything that may be plot-important.
| Threadhopping: Yes, no need to ask permission.
| Fourthwalling: He's a historical figure, so it's kind of a given. Anything that could reasonably be known through the historical record is fine and you needn't ask permission; details specific to the Hakuouki canon, however (i.e. "crazy vampire"), I would prefer you did not bring up.
| Offensive subjects: I can't think of anything that won't fly.

| Injuring this character: If it's realistic for your character to manage it (Hijikata is supernaturally fast and strong), then I don't mind it! He has a ridiculously fast healing factor (though there are a few situations that can negate it), so he can eat a lot of damage without consequence.
| Killing this character: Talk to me first. I'm not opposed to character death, but I do prefer that it be saved for situations that are going to have lasting consequences and serious impact..and your character will have to deal with his angry posse.
| Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Completely fine with me in most situations, but drop me a PM so we can discuss what your character will be picking up from it!
